Geostatistical Exploratory Analysis on Child Malnutrition and its Determinants in India

Child malnutrition is often the most common factor that causes child mortality rate. In study of malnutrition, there limited evidence on spatial analysis to identify trends and hotspots indicators contextual factors contributing geographical inequalities in malnutrition. This aimes investigate distribution heterogeneity Malnutrition across districts states India examine influence determinants wasting, stunting, underweight children under five-year-of age. The variation influencing were determined at district levels using National Family Health Survey 3 4 (2006–16) data. Results show out 640 India, a very high prevalence occurs 236, 472, 370 districts, respectively. error regression model showed maternal health, such as low mother BMI, anaemia during pregnancy, absence antenatal care, early marriage lack improved sanitation facilities household, significant India.
